Inquisition of the Heart was a collaborative effort between myself, long-time friend Foster Carver, and the SWE group.

 

Foster created the majority of the cast, having evolved them from characters conceptualised while we were in college together.

The comic was intended to be part of a series, but in the end, only the comic we worked on and one other were released.

 

This project was a first for me, as I usually do everything myself, in this case I was only providing illustration.​

As a result, I was pushed to my limits, working to a deadline and within the confines of someone else's vision.

​

Of course, this was made easier by the fact that I was working with someone I knew very well, so the challenge was welcomed. I am also grateful that I had the opportunity to depict a queer narrative with such diverse and compelling characters.
